Evening all, Im 1/2 way through removing a 300tdi from a 1998 disco, to place into my 90 (2.5na). Im wondering if I can also pinch the powersteering and place onto my steering rack - will this work? Cheers Chris

Mine currently has powersteering that I was hoping i could make work again - I have the option of removing any bits I may need from the disco though.. Really appriciate your thoughts Chris

Yeah I bet is has, mine is a 2.5 na and to be honest it couldn't pull the skin off a custard - im hoping for a big improvement! Engine mounts make sense - do you just match the height to the disco? The three bell housing nuts worry me slightly but will just get "stuck in" if required...

Yeah, by counting the gears -it makes it to forth (although it flares into 4th a bit) TC just seems to lock up too early? Nevermind, im happy wnough with it - just wish the lucas oil would hurry up and sort out the sticky valve (4th gear change) issue... Cheers Chris
