I have changed my battery for a brand new one and the gearbox fault has not appeared since .I hope thats the end of that problem.

I had the same problem with window not set .And with the help of this site and the guys that wrote it mines fixed .My window would go up to about an inch from the top then start banging like a machine gun .So like the guy said i changed the window regulator and hey presto all fixed.So thanks.

I have a 1996 4.0 rr auto.I have had the abs light come on for a minute or so after starting up then goes out .I have also had gearbox fault comeing up on the dash.Today when driving it took ages for it to get up to speed not the usual acelaration when in drive.From reading these threads i hope...

I will let you know what the damage is next week after my service.My car cuts out when its warm or cold.

Hi funnily enough the guy at the garage said the first thing he would check is the filter in the engine as they get blocked up.Do these filters cost much.?

hi thanks for the reply.Its a sequential system.I had to take it to a garage so it is booked in for the forth of jan for a service .I told the guy what the problem was and he said that a service should fix the problem .He would connect the laptop up and reset the computor and that should solve...

hi just bought myself a 1996 rr 4.0 running on petrol and lpg .The problem is it runs fine on petrol but when on lpg and i pull up at a T junction or lights the revs just drop to below 250rpm and the engine cuts out .When i start it again the revs fluctuate between 250 and 800 then it levels off...
