Thanks. So it looks as if there is no way of ensuring an exact match if there are 31 diffrent shades. Somehow I knew I'd end up doing the whole damn thing. Needs doing anyway - bit faded now.:(

I've just bought a 1991 ex MoD Defender 110 that (I believe) is painted NATO green (MoD code 4666). Can anyone tell me me If I can determine exactly what colour the old girl was originally sprayed from the chassis number or the VIN? (not sure if VIN numbers were around then?):confused:
