Hi there, I had a similar problem and found that one of the coil springs had gone weaker than the other, after I had removed them the dogy one was a diff height than the other, worth a look.

HI Guys, I just bought this tow bar on ebay and it doesnt fit my 1984 90, doh... as you can see its practically new and doesnt seem to have been used to tow although it was fitted onto a landy, it comes with bolts, electrics and instructions. It says on the instructions for Landrovers from 1997...

Thanks rich, your light bar looks cool. You dont say how you went about the wiring of your lights, are they linked into your landys headlight circuit in any way?. I have seen the type of light bar you have for sale on ebay I want the same bar with round spots but have yet to see a round spot...

cheers for that graham, As I said I was thinking of spicing into the wiring behind headlight but I will use a relay, will this be ok or are you saying that I cant use the wiring at the headlight?. Another issue will be the prospect of a light bar at some time, are these normaly isolated...

I have not connected the lamps as yet, but when I do I think I will splice into the head lamp wiring at the back of the h/lamps thus saving any alteration to the dash wiring, I think this should work, will post when done. On the subject of what wire does what ,I have a lucas wiring sheet...

Hi There, I have the standard ( I think) rear door wheel carier with the three rods to locate the wheel, however, there is also this looping bar that seems to do nothing that just seems to be in the middle of the spare wheel. what is this for? I probably will kick myself..... cheers

Thanks for the replies, Decided to go for the 16" after all, mainly because of the stability issues you raised. I will be tryng to find a chunky tyre that will allow plenty of road use but also useful when I go down the odd muddy track. cheers..

Hi keeper, well by the sounds of it you are looking at the pump its self, I dont think the pump 2 engine timing is the problem as its very unlikely to have been out on the old engine and the new one. Could the garage not stick another pump on for you so that you could do a cold start before...

Just another thought, have you checked the crankcase breather setup, hoses ect... worth a look if they are cracked leaking or blocked it can cause eratic running, ok thats all for now speak to you all later
