Hi my key fobs won't work iv tryd them all and I opened it up with me key but the passanger door won't open and it won't start I tuck the battery off than back on tried the key and it opend the door and started but still no key fobs won't work any help
Hey buddy, apparently you're the guy to speak to? After taking out a couple of fuses and putting back, my central locking doesn't work at all. Can't open the boot with the button either. Doors won't unlock when I pull the handle.
The remote isn't programmed to the car and never was, so that's not the issue. Any ideas?
Hi moz. Having trouble with fob again. Stuck at the quays. Do you lock the door before entering the eka code or start the procedure from unlocked? Cheers
also in options on box show car as lhd manual & lang as french an gems
again reset to rhd auto & english edc & writ to box it shows as writ then power down box and power up again and it say its lhd and french etc
not sure whats goin on so i reattahced rf lead and have all old codes not sure of allarm settings ie is it lazy lock on all doors or just drivers also is it dmh key and fob or just dmh key or one click Etc
have tried the door sync sinarios still no joy
i can hear the relay under passenger seat firing when i press the disarm with teh eka code but does not disarmand then goes int key lock out which mean anotehr 30 min wait , tailgate does unloc with driver door though and
i have unplug battery to see if that clears becm and charged battery also changed all
main fuse and relays in main engin bay not sure if any in car?
appreciate you help any ideas if you have come across this
have heard from other you cant change eka code bit i did and it was working ok for months,

Yesterday car went into lock down attached the nan box screen was dead found 5 amp fuse blown in car replaced nam box worked, tried to disarm nothing, went into the settings it is has teh imobilzer code but where the eka code is and teh key fob code is its blank it i tried reseting and writ to becm then disarm no joy when i fire up nam box again it show eka as blank and the fob as blank

had some prbs battery drain last year so disconnected rf blue lead an used the key in door to unlock generaly no prob then sometimes if i opened drivers door before the central lock had opend all doors it goes into lock down
i would put int the eka code using a nanocom box to disarm all doors would unlok a car would work no probs, after couple times this hapening i went into settings and changed the eka to 1111 and writ to the becm and it worked fine for 6 months when i got lock out i would simply attached nan box punch in 1111 and it would disarm and reset no prob, until yesterday

Hi Mozz I am having a problem with getting a keycode lookout. And another BM said to contact yourself amd i see you are an expert woth these issues. i have tried everything i found on forums and nothing has worked. My battery was dead and not holding a full charge so i have bought a new one but its still not working the car dosnt seem to register that i am entering tthe eka code. It just opens and closes the drivers door.The alarm is active hopefully you can help
Hi mozz after reading many posts with same prob I'm hoping you can help.
Went to p38 yesterday fob wouldn't unlock it so I opened it with key and when it showed me engine disabled msg so assumed I would have to do the eka code as fob wouldn't clear it. I have had to do this before after fitting a new battery a month ago and in past after doing work. This time it won't work and I keep getting the lock out msg the alarm now chirps every time I open or close the door, I have tried leaving it for lockout to clear and connecting jump leads to my van to ensure there is sufficient power in battery but still same problem.
I have the battery on charge as to have a fully charged battery as I noticed that you have asked this of others.
The red light flashes on the fob and this also has had new batterys recently.The red light on the dash is also flashing when drivers door is unlocked manually with key
I am really stuck so any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated

Hi Mozz, having a read through the board you seem like the man that may be able to help me with my P38 engine Disabled problem.
The car will not open with any of the remote keys i have(both worked yesterday), it will open with the manual key but i get engine disabled when i try to start the car.
I can not do the EKA method as no lights flash on the dash or the hazards, so i am stuck.
Having read online it seems the alarm is active so keys can not be resync'd. I have previously had the alarm hooter disabled so I'm getting no clue from that to what the issue could be.
Hi Mr Smith! Just joined and posted my very first post today in RR section as 'Locked Out',told to pm you (hope you don;t mind m8!) Gerabox fault message investigation led to a disconection of battery(as safety) resulted in no keyfob entry,no door key entry,I have read several posts by now and hope tomorrow to try a few remedies! Power to starter solenoid first,any other things to try as the last thing I want to do is send it to a garage,Cheers again,Geraint (North Wales)

hi mozz can you help me my fob light flashes when i press to unlock/lock car but nothing happens i can start and drive it no problem also when i sit inside i can press the lock button down and they all lock and unlock ok just wont do anything on the fob buttons my other fob is dead as well cheers paul

Hi Sir, I have P38 1998 petrol suddenly will not crank, engine
light on, so prob not sync problem, relay clicks, fuel pump starts, no error messages
key fob light on, doors all open, somewhat stumped, any ideas. p.s.rf aerial connection. has always been disconnected behind back seat, drivers side.
