I think the 300 is more desireable with the oblong lights, however there are some mechanical differences, the 300 has an EGR which most people take off but the 200 doesn't, I think the 300 has more horse power... personal pref really... just makesure you check the usual places for rust... Rear load space floor, bottoms of the rear door pillars, front inner wings and chassis outriggers etc. all the parts are cheap and they are fairly easy to work on and simple mechanics and stuff... none of the magical electricery of the modern stuff to go wrong!
