Never sure why anyone thinks turning a car body into a trailer is a good idea.
Because I will have a spare (replaced with galv) chassis and rear body. What else am I supposed to do with them? Plus there is a big “because I can” factor.

That is the sort of thing I am looking to do although I think I will stop at the bulkhead rather than add the faux wings and bonnet. Would make it shorter and more compact for towing. And the front cabin can then have the electrical setup and storage etc. I am still at the info gathering and feasibility stage though.

Can’t you just build a sensible trailer that does all that?

I'd never have one as they look a bit nerdy, but theyre a bit of fun/something interesting imo
Exactly as above, a normal trailer does not have the novelty or fun factor, and again I have most of the parts to do it. i would need to source everything required for a normal trailer rather than just the hitch.

That's right.

And you can always hire a trailer when you've got to shift stuff that needs to go in a trailer.
