Good evening everyone,

I don't understand this. I parked the car yesterday - everything was fine.
Today the automatic windows and mirrors no longer work - the entire console has failed.

Did I press a magic button yesterday to disable this?

The car starts everything is fine except for this function.

Where should I start looking? Thank you!!!

Is that all windows? Fuses would be my first port of call.

Thank you! yes, it's all windows, mirrors and roof.
Fuses under the passenger seat?
You really need to get a copy of RAVE, it's all in there. Do the rear windows work from the rear switches?
Fuses F1 2: 9; 12 & 22 are involved. Not sure where they are located but I think ubder the seat.

...i checked the fuses under the passenger seat. everything looks fine. the three red ones (10) in the centre showed me 0.5 volts - but they didn't burn out - I'm not familiar with them - but they seem to be ok...

Puhhh, I'm at a loss. I've been trying all day to find the error - to no avail.
Checked all the fuses. What is striking is that these 3 fuses initially showed no value - when I then treated it with contact spray - it always showed approx. 0.5 V - can't estimate whether this is ok. All the others show good values. Thanks!!!

All fuses related to the windows should have 12 volts with the ignition on.

Do the Hokey Cokey with them a few times, pull them out and put them back, sometimes oxides can build and cause problems, failing that it may pay to pull the fuse panel and check for green gunk showing on some fuse housings ...

You didn't answer an important question datatek asked, do the rear windows work from their individual switchs🤷

"All fuses related to the windows should have 12 volts with the ignition on."

ok, I didn't do that. Now I've been downstairs and switched on the ignition and yes - the 3 red ones now have 12.15 v

what i really don't understand is that everything works perfectly in the evening - i haven't changed anything! and the next morning everything is down. it's driving me crazy.

Any burning smell from the under bonnet fuse box? Check the nuts are tight on the feeds to and from the under bonnet fuse box.
It could be an earth problem Around the back of the BECM there are a couple of earth points to check.
You have checked for voltage at the fuses, have you actually checked they are not blown?

Just throwing it out there.....
Only one connector on the switch pack, maybe its come away? Worth a look. Side cheeks off, 2 screws each side, open cubby box, 2 screws there at the top front. Be careful!!! Plastic tabs break off if your heavy handed, be extra extra careful removing the side cheeks where they slide under the panel with the hvac radio etc in.

No need to slide the cheeks off. Hardest bit is getting the boot off the handbrake lever, just 2 screws in the cubby.
