Hello from France !

I have a problem with my 2000 Discovery 2 TD5 on high revs and cutting out whilst driving. I've read a lot on the forum but I can't solve my problem ! The problem appeared a few months ago.

1. Waste gaste moves freely ( turbo is new )
2. Replaced Injector Wiring Harness
3. Cleaned red ecu
4. Cleaned Map sensor

The EGR valve is no longer in place.

Even after all these replacements the car still splutters when I drive around 100km/h or accelerate with high revs.

If you have any suggestions... Many thanks in advance.

Is it cutting the fueling hard if you boot it? As though the throttle has gone to nothing?

If so, the waste gate modulator may be shot/disconnected/have a perished boost line (small gauge rubber piping), these are pretty cheap to replace.

Best to find someone with nanocom close by so they can see what's logged in the ECU.

I didn't expect such quick responses!!!!! Thank you so much!

The engine starts perfectly and works perfectly except at around 100km/h and if I really accelerate. This also happens on hills, on freeways for example, when the engine is under load on a hill. When driving at 110km/h, as soon as the gradient is righted, the engine cuts out !

I'll try the Sierrafery test, removing fuse F2 located in the engine compartment. And if then the engine goes up in revs without cuts, then I'll have to replace PMK100130.
