Hi, there is an increasing sense of dread as we strip down my gearbox. Lots of broken teeth and stuff. Questions; what suffix box is this? I have another box an insane pal stripped down 10 years ago for fun, what sort is this? photos attached. Do you think i can build a working gearbox from the two or am I delusional???
Is there anyone south of Birmingham who could hold our hands and guide us through this emotional time?

One on left is the possible source of bits apart from reverse, which i buggered up by bump starting in reverse. both S3

The green manual not bad, if it’s been played with before are you happy it was put together with. Compatible parts

All of your pics are of case casting numbers. The box number/suffix of a series three box is stamped on the top edge of the transfer box, [ nuts I know] Steamwally on youtube has a very good series 3 box rebuild in 3 parts.
The left hand set of main gears looks pretty good. How is its lay shaft?
