Definitely remove the arm from the car or you are asking for trouble! Chamfer the leading edge of the bush as well, it'll introduce itself better before you press it Into the arm. A touch of grease as well around the whole in the arm and the bush leading edge. The bush is slightly bigger than it's seat. 🤔

Do the nut (5) at the far end first. It's easier while the axle end is still attached. Then undo the two marked 7 & 8 in the diagram. If the bolts are fouling on the roll-bar mounts, just undo them & let the roll-bar hang down a bit.

Also do one arm at a time. The other one will tend to keep the axle roughly in the right place so it cannot swing free.

Polybushes are not as tight a fit. I think Tomcat might have got his in using some threaded rod with some washers and some nuts. Potentially you could drill out the old one and get a polybush in that way.

Better to stick to original though. The tool for the originals is a tapered tube to squeeze the bush so it fits in. Some people use Jubilee clips to squeeze the end so it goes in. Fairy liquid helps.

Or KY :)

If you replacing with standard rubber you need a press.
If you replacing with standard rubber the special taperd tool makes it way easier to do, i highly recommend it.

When i did mine i used a 1mm disk on the grinder to cut through the bolts left n right ,dropped the hole thing out ....I put pollys in far quicker;)..

great, thank you!

I wanted to order these as bushes. I know the manufacturer.
Is there anything against it?
