Hi,
I've got a 1970 series which was originally Marine Blue. Unfortunately someone has badly painted some army surplus paint on top. Does anyone know the best way to remove that paint without too much damage to the paint below?
I've attached a photo to show the paint. Any help would be appreciated.

Pressure washer.

But then just your standard off the shelf gunwash / thinners.

They (probably) won't touch the original paint but will the new stuff.

I have used sugar soap to soften paint in the past. Not sure if it's available anymore.
Yeahh it is the yellow stuff i recall doing rooms with that in rentals in my uni time when trying to get nicotine stains off the wall.

You can still get it. I’ve always wondered why it’s called sugar soap 🤔
Edit
Googled it…..it looks like sugar in its dry form.
