Just taken mine off, going for a week's touring off road, so needed to lose the hitch. I had a Dixon bate adjustable drop plate. This has a piece of angle section steel bolted under the cross member, which has two extra holes for the M16 bolts.

Try GDI Products on eBay, they've a lot of galv stuff, series spacers and drop plates.

I've seen them riveted in with a dab of RTV.

Buy a tap and tap them to the old screw thread. Avoid Britpart.

I bought from undercover covers. It's a superb product. Good heavy canvas, clearly heavily treated with decent wax. I need to soak it a few times, apparently, before it's fully ready.

10 hour job on a lot of vauxhall cars, at £60 per hour. Makes a lot of vehicles beyond economic repair. It's one of the reasons I keep my Landrover.

I thought that looked perfect for camping, canvas is doesn't sweat like modern tents. Exmoor trim advise periodically using Fabsil and It's satisfying watching the water bead off it.

It's one of those modern plastic coil sprung things. A car of some sort. Probably got those fancy wind up windows and such like.

Yes, just replace the matrix. Screws and maybe rivets iirc. Prepare to give the casing a decent coat of paint.

That's kind! I ran out of proper blinds pop rivets and used the cheap ones. It's on and I think it will be waterproof. Hope so as I'll be sleeping under is in a couple of weeks time...

I had the transfer box on one of mine out this weekend. The high low lever pivot bolts to the bellhousing. The round hook sits on top of the ball, and bolts to the lever. The 4x4 dog clutch release has a pivot on the front output casing.

I'm going to say it could be exhaust related, check all the unions

Footwell replacement is going to be more difficult than anticipated. Someone has replaced them in the past and seam welded them in.🤔
