You could get in touch with the military vehicle trust. They're officially recognised by the DVLA as vehicle inspectors and can get you the registration. Costs about £200 for non members.
Funnily enough I'm using an aluminium enriched 2k epoxy mastic to fill the pits on the front axle of the 101. Unlike the ordinary series vehicles, the swivel balls can't be replaced, as they are welded onto the axle tube.

Suggest you trawl online and get a manual for your flavour and read it in bed at night/Breakfast in the morning and during your tea breaks:).
