All the steel work including the bulkhead and inner wings are back from the blasters, a few drain holes added to the roll bar hoop and they are ready to go to the galvanisers next Wednesday. Notice that I’ve attached some unistrut as a brace...

Its done !!! And Im also done in ! 12 hrs in the man cave, 1lt of etch primer, 2 lts of high build primer, 3 sheets or 80 120 and 400 grit block sanding pads and two bottles of Proper Job IPA and the tub is finally ready for top coat.

Cant wait to get this rear tub in primer it’s starting to grind! I would say to anyone restoring a landy that it’s the most time consuming piece of the jigsaw to get right and the most visible once done, get it wrong and it will annoy you every...

Righ hand side of tub skimmed with fine filler and block sanded to smooth out any small dents

Tub underside all finished, etch primed and then undersealed with gravitex stone guard, ready for primer and paint. Will start on the outside next flattern then fill and block sand.

I have used HB Body Pro S115 and HMP seam seal both as equally as good. But the HB stuff does dry slightly harder

And in between all of the landy stuff I managed to give the bike a service before the trip
