Changing the one on my TD5 was a right sod, but then I chose not to empty the sump first. Putting the new one in at arm's length through the little access port under the wheel arch, it got very slippy!! No ramp, obvs!;) 🤣

Yes mate Google says it's in the oil cooler says you need to remove radiator some say you don't will find out I suppose haven't done deal as yet still mulling but is cheap so hard to resist

Mini out of workshop, just cleaned and replaced head gasket in the end seems good replaced completely cooling system fingers crossed pretty sure it had had a head gasket cure added still have stains on my hands Had a shift around 09 fired...

It may all be down to a faulty temp sender unit. The rest is good servicing practice.

As lynall said get codes read most likely fuel pressure issues either low or high pump would check at Schrader valve, blocked or restricted fuel filter can also cause issues, you might also want to check intercooler pipe hasn't popped off but...
