I usually ask ChatGPT, you don't have to listen but it often raises points I hadn't thought about.
It's RHD actually, I was going to put it in with the fuses since there's lots of electricity and lots of space (TD5). I'd looked at the waterproof...
I've got a parking sensor kit I'd like to fit to the 110 as I'm occasionally required to do the school run in it and that can be a squeeze in the Mini. All the sensors feed back to a box which is basically the brain of the whole thing, this then...

A few years ago I saw some Discovery 1 ARBs on eBay for cheap and thought I was getting a cheap way of getting bars for my 110 TD5 given that the D1 was, as I understood, pretty much a Defender underneath. I've just got round to cleaning them up...
I’ve seen that one before but I think the part number was for use with another part of the exhaust manifold/turbo. I’ve bought it and I’ll report back.
Does anyone know the part number for the gasket between the exhaust manifold and the EGR pipe on an early type TD5? I’ve searched around and it’s supposed to be some kind of crushed metal thing but I can’t find it on any diagrams and I see lots...
It was from the JGS eBay store. It was actually listed as for a Discovery 2 but I checked online and it was said to be exactly the same. I recall the only difference is the plug for the water sensor on the bottom of the filter but already had one...
I don’t know what the actual original problem was but I found out my replacement fuel filter housing didn’t include the non-return valve so I’ve got one ordered. Hopefully there’s no more problems.
