A 7.50 x 16 should have a 7.50” side wall and 7.50” section width. In practice many will be a bit taller esp if a mud terrain.

Doubt you fried it but you could have jammed it in gear. Try putting it in gear say 3rd high with ignition off and rock the truck back and fore. Given it's a Landy you may need a couple of mates to help do this.

Learning to drive must be a breeze nowadays. My Golf has an electric motor on each brake caliper to apply the handbrake. Sure it will be considerably more expensive to fix than adjusting or replacing a cable.

Plenty of older vehicles around here. Had a look at an electric job the other day, just an electric servo motor pulling on cables. Another thing to go wrong so folk do not learn how to hill start using the hand brake!:(:(

When I did my son's panhard bushes I used some poly bushes and new bolts. Following week I fitted oem bushes, the poly bushes were a waste of time, you could see the axle moving from side to side.

The BFG AT’s on my disco 1 were the best tyres I’ve had. They had excellent wear and Road holding for a Land Rover. I’ve currently got Cooper ATR’s on my 90 and they are all terrain but with a slightly more Road-biased pattern and again last well...

Fix the other side, new top pin and bush if there is any side to side movement at the top of the swivel housing. In this case just removing shims will only improve things for a bit.

There won't be any height difference just by going for a road tyre, unless you change size. Which is an option, but depends what size you have now. Smaller tyres will also impact gearing. It is all possible however. In terms of tyres... do you...

There will not be a huge difference between AT and what are often called "all weather" noise wise. Fitting a lower profile tyre to fit into multi story's will upset your gearing, needing more revs to obtain the same road speed as before. You...
