When I did my son's panhard bushes I used some poly bushes and new bolts. Following week I fitted oem bushes, the poly bushes were a waste of time, you could see the axle moving from side to side.

Yes go from the seat box center plate. Clean and a tad of lube may do it. Could be ratchet itself worn or the pawl that catches in it has gone/worn. When learning to drive a long time ago I was taught to pull brake up with thumb on button and...

The BFG AT’s on my disco 1 were the best tyres I’ve had. They had excellent wear and Road holding for a Land Rover. I’ve currently got Cooper ATR’s on my 90 and they are all terrain but with a slightly more Road-biased pattern and again last well...

Both pins are in great condition. Ive seen worn pins before, including someone's I repaired that had no pin left whatsoever and he wondered why the steering felt off 😬. I'll do the left side tonight and see how it goes tomorrow

A dead or nearly dead shock/damper can result in that sort of rattle upon hitting a pot hole but pre load first.

Fix the other side, new top pin and bush if there is any side to side movement at the top of the swivel housing. In this case just removing shims will only improve things for a bit.

There won't be any height difference just by going for a road tyre, unless you change size. Which is an option, but depends what size you have now. Smaller tyres will also impact gearing. It is all possible however. In terms of tyres... do you...

There will not be a huge difference between AT and what are often called "all weather" noise wise. Fitting a lower profile tyre to fit into multi story's will upset your gearing, needing more revs to obtain the same road speed as before. You...

It's the opposite of what you think. The pivot is a basic bush and to get lube in there it will need to be thin, engine oil will do. Better would be RP90 penetrating oil if things are very stiff. Also check return springs are good. Do not use...
