    Upgrade brake servo

That's because it's for a 200, 300 or td5 to upgrade it to take the later type abs servo and improve braking on those. You could fit a new servo of the type already fitted and it'll help but there are a lot of other things you could do that would improve your brakes

    Long brake pedal travel

Funny you should say that I noticed mine doing that very thing last night. I pressed the brake pedal with a pole whilst feeling the master cylinder so I could tell when the piston was actually engaged and I could physically see the face of the servo flexing out. I've bought a better quality one...

    Long brake pedal travel

I had already adjusted the push rod and I'm wary of adjusting it too much and putting constant pressure on the piston itself. The actual brake pedal has about 15mm or so of free play before it actuates the pushrod so I'm happy with that but obviously the pushrod into the master cylinder is the...

    Long brake pedal travel

Twice now my Defender has failed its MOT and subsequent retest due to the brake pedal having too much travel. The tester said that he knows the brakes are there and they work but the pedal has got too much travel and is nearing the floor when pressure is kept on it. Unfortunately it's a fail...

    Flasher Relay

I fitted led lights to mine ages ago and never had a problem even with the original relay. That being said I've somehow got 3 of the adjustable ones so if you do need one give me a shout, I'll never use them

    Seatbelt assistance!

Probably a long shot but has anyone in central Scotland got a 300tdi Defender drivers side seatbelt kicking about? Mine failed its MOT on some wear to the belt and i won't get one in till next week now if I order online which means having it off the road for over a week.

    Help please

I had this on mine with the caliper on the rear left taking the thicker pads and the one on the right the thinner ones. Took me longer than id care to admit (that and I didn't want to spend the money) to realise that id obviously replaced the rear left caliper at some point with a different part...

Death wobble and swivel pin preload.

How do I do the Naked Gun facepalm gif? The one shot grease works absolutely fine, pretty much most people use it including myself and I've never her a problem with it. Your grease isn't going in because you scooped it into a ****ing funnel and are hoping gravity will work it's magic. It's...

    No brakes after MC change

Yeah, it's supposed to be 0.5mm clearance which isn't exactly easy to work out but it's definitely making contact with the piston, I'll just need to try and find the correct length to adjust it to as there doesn't seem to be any set figure. I'll give it a good bleed tonight incase there is still...

    Help please

There's a part number on the caliper body, usually starts with FTC

Death wobble and swivel pin preload.

Adjust your steering lock stops. And buy actual swivel grease in the tubes, you don't remove it from the tube like that before using it. Do you squeeze all your toothpaste into a bowl first anaw?

Death wobble and swivel pin preload.

I have never had a problem squeezing swivel grease from a bag. Do you keep yours in the freezer?
