Been a while since I drove it, so cant remember for sure. But I think it revved ok in neutral and half revved in gear while sorta moving off.
Will put it back together then and start re-testing with torque converter the focus for now.
No. As I thought the fault was the cam from previous comments. So probably need to put it all back together for now and re evaluate. So ATF is on the board to be looked at. Just want to know what is wrong so I can actually get fixing :vb-bad-pc:
As it is not crank-able at the moment, can a compression tester work ok just by hand turning the crank? If a bit tedious. Or is a leak down tester better? As I can use my compressor.
Originally was fresh twice over while testing back when. Not run up for a while and is now in a few bits while digging. Still some in the tank, but at least a year old now.
