Finally got round to doing this job, you were right it was very awkward, looking at RAVE its a 20 minute job which isnt the case! Even with the wheel arch liner removed it was still a pain but doable!!! I only had one hose so my P38 is obviously PRE advanced EVAPS. Anyway thanks to all that...

Hi, Does anybody know if/where the three NRVs can be purchased from as shown in the pic below? Will shortly be overhauling my valve block and would like to replace them along with all the o 'rings. Thanks

Exactly the same, filled it up with Shell V Power only to see it leaking away!!! Oh well it is what it is, at least brimming the tank has shown up the problem with the hose, looks in a bad way from what I saw, all cracked and beginning to come apart!! Hopefully the new silicone hose will last.

I see what you mean, there was me thinking there were only two filler necks, one for petrol and one for diesel but the lrcat catalogue (thank you for the links) shows that is not the case. I am away for xmas and new year and the new silicone hose has not arrived yet so it will be a job for when...

Thank you, think mine is pre Advanced EVAPS, either way looks like once the rear wheel arch liner is removed there should be access to replace the hose. Guess I will find out once I attempt the repair, new hose is on the way.

Hello, filled up the P38 (its a 1997 4.0v8 Gems if that makes a difference), got home and when I got out of the car there was a strong smell of petrol. Had a look underneath and can see fuel leaking from the rubber hose which connects the filler neck to the tank. Will obviously need replacing...

I actually feel slightly better reading this because at the time I felt like a complete numpty not being able to remove the airline from the bag (and subsequently ended up butchering the pipe), as everyone was telling me it was such a simple thing to do, push in and pull the pipe out. Crap...

Morning All, To close this thread down, fitted two new Dunlop rear bags over the weekend along with some new pipe and connectors and all appears well, the back end has not dropped. Thank you to all who took the time to reply and provide advice, greatly appreciated and gave me the confidence...

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I dont think there is enough length on the pipe to be able to drop the bag down far enough to be able to access the nut but I might be wrong, the space is really tight. Just cutting a small length off the pipe (just past the bulge) is enough to make the pipe too...

I am not sure what bags they were, they went in the bin and bin men came this morning, I thought I saw Contitech on them but cant be 100% sure. They were in a bad state, all the bottom rubber was heavily cracked on both sides hence the rear end dropping overnight. I honestly do not know how...
