Fresh new pulley fitted to the spare alternator last afternoon. Loctite 620 on the spindle and threadlock on the.. errm.. thread. Running very sweetly now. Made me realise just how crackered the old one was.

Chock blocks haha do peeps still use them, I have a nice set of blue point (snap on) wire strippers & solder water proof heat shrink connectors. To heat shrink them I have a sealey gas gun which takes lighter fluid. :)
Amongst the mountain of tools and spares I take with me in the Disco, both rear paniers full and a trolley jack in the rear passengers foot well, I class gaffer tape and cable ties as the most likely to solve a problem. Both great inventions...
My Wife's car has been driven for at least two years with the plug linking the coils to the rest of the loom mended with garden wire. The pesky spring clip flew off into the middle distance never to be found. so yep, 2 or even three zip ties...
