Hi All well it's been a long time since last post. Busy with important household jobs. Back to the none starting issue, since finding the coil wires shorted out, I have now fitted a 2nd hand ECU vehicle fired up but still multiple misfires clyln's 4 and 7. So after checking the coil pack, now...

Cables are run to coil packs on two, three core wires using the same plugs, system was working well untill overheat. Also found a tiny water leak from an o ring where the heater pipe attaches to the front/top of engine. On long run using motorways could be a water loss.causing overheat after 50+...

When overheat happened and after cooling and restart engine ran rough. Then suddenly cut out would not restart, fault codes found showed misfires in various cylinders. Faults cleared at roadside in a hope that would get the car started. It didn't later found had no spark, no power to coil packs...

New plug on order should be here by Saturday. Will keep you posted.

Hi all, part has arrived not fitted yet as only just got the air intake off today.look what I found. Two wires on the plug to the right coil pack melted and connected. Guess found out why I have no spark.

Sensor ok before bearing went duff. Blind fitter trying to fit it caused damaged the sensor had hammer marks on the top. Incorrect wheel bearing hub fitted read above for details.

Sorry yes my fault. Cp sensor removed bench tested working refitted. Coil pack tested ohms shown. Coil pack cables NO POWER ignition on and when cranking. Engine management light remains on the dashboard when ignition on?

Crank sensor removed and bench tested working ok refitted. CPS pack tested and giving ohms readings. CPS cables tested no power with ignition on and when cranking. Engine management light remains on when ignition on.
