@korthaldisco2 I do not know the Disco, but I have a method to convert RHD headlights to LHD at no cost. PM me with an email address and I will send you a how to. I'm pretty sure it will work for the Disco, same vintage more or less as the P38.

By "bumping" do you mean a start caused by pushing or towing it? Which is what most people mean by that, or do you mean a "jump start" i.e. leads from another battery, preferably connected to a car that is running? I think I am right in saying...

I'm beginning to wonder, as it started after you had the chassis work done, whether one or more of the fuel pipes has developed a tiny crack or something. There is a known place where one or more rub on chassis rails, outa sight.

The reason i got the disco is even with snow tyres 6" of fresh snow and you cant get up the hill to our house. Il probably stick with the At3s and just get chains.

You are dead right, which is why it is a job best done in a warm dry spell, although you can speed things up by using hairdryers, hot air guns,infra-red heaters if you have a garage, which I don't, well not tall enough to take a Disco!

Il have a read thanks ! The one thing that stands out to me is doing a half arsed job and trapping moisture between a coating and metal. Thats what im worried about. Think you are preserving it but actually speeding up the rot.

Wow!! closest to that I have known is a house I lived in in Bath, where ground floor at the front was the first floor at the back and the garden was so steep, if it rained you slid down it. So pretty cool at night then!

18 outside 27 inside on the 2nd floor of 4 floor house. The gradient is that steep 3rd floor is the garden level and ground level is 2 levels down in a square building.
