Just had quite a bit off a shock. My keys are disintegrating, the Fob is literally falling apart although it still does work as keyless - for now. Thought I would see how much a new key will cost me from JLR. Would any one care to guess?

Yeah, the ones I got (put a forward facing one in the front bumper at wading depth) were supposed to be waterproof but conked out in the first river crossing. They did come back online when they dried out but a few more dunkings and the front one...

I had the same problem and it was basically the lambda sensor throwing a fault causing it to go into restricted performance mode.

Thanks. But i’m not sure that I want to substitute a camera for my rear mirror. Cameras are unreliable and where i use them, likely to get covered in mud, whereas i can always rely on my mirror.

No relay required to use the 12S connection. The wires you want are the Red/Green and the Black is earth.
