I had a loss of power when accelerating. The air intake pipe that connects the air filter to the intake manifold bridging the engine collapsed in itself when accelerating, then restored to normal shape when ticking over. New pipe transformed...
If you go for the 4.4TDV8 then you will get better mpg. The 8 speed gear box more than earns its keep over the 6 speed 3.6 - so, counter intuitively, the bigger engine gets you better efficiency.
I have never had any issues with Turbo’s and I...
As with any car, look at the MOT history. Same advisories showing year after year, generally show the owners haven't bothered to fix them until they become failures. Service history with receipts for any work done is good.
It does now seem the only diff between my “LR” labelled product and the eBay 1s is I have a LR logo on the back cover.
I had to deal with the spring, we’re as the eBay 1s come pre assembled.
As I said in my thread parts here are slow and...
All sorted. Two different key fobs from the bay. One came with unbranded side pieces and i managed to transfer one good side piece and attach my key to the second. £45 and £22 respectively. Both now work marvellously. I have not had two good...
So guys an L322 suffer with key fob problems like rubber flapping off the sides.
Like this
We have 2 like this, 1 has insulation tape holding it together.

Now you...
I have a 2011 Vogue SE Autobiography. Utterly fantastic car - but I did not buy it cheap, I bought it in 2015 at 4 years old at a typical price for 4 year old top of the range L322. Maintenance is so important. I have maintained mine by the book...
I think they charge you £2,870 and give you a new KVM, BCM and a NEW KEY! (Even if you have a working key and there is nothing wrong with the KVM or BCM!)
The Nice Lady at JLR did politely explain to me that the quote included a new KVM - £715.00 - in the price. So I guess that would be similar for the Disco - same one I guess?
This looks a good price, even had a video! But they don't swap the metal parts over so you keep the range rover bit. It's easy to do

To be fair, that does include the 'essential' replacement Keyless Vehicle Module and BCM. However, I do still have an original working key - I don't need new locks and codes!
I was quoted around £320 per key for the non flip 2005 key. Around £260 was the key the rest was pairing it up to the car.
Got one from local indi and paired it myself.
