Disconnect each wire on the plugs and do a resistance check on each glowplug, they should be between 0.9 ohm and 1.2 ohm. Any one or two plugs different, change them all for beru or bosch. ๐Ÿ‘ Also cycle the key and check for voltage at one of the...

Gullibility is rampant IMO, which is golden for marketing dreaming up the latest 'must have' gadget for those who value cup-holders over reliability.

Normally black on start up, it'll chug a little then run properly. Normally when one or two glow plugs go down it'll be a long crank to get it fire up๐Ÿซฃ

Stating the obvious, handbooks are best kept in the car, no use in the cupboard. Have you checked for binding brakes? With any Range Rover, best to never leave home without diagnostics to hand IMO, you would then know what the problem is/was...

Pump comes off easily enough but that's jumping the gun IMO. You need to prove the pump is the source of the noise first, a mechanics stethoscope would help. If it is the pump that's noisy, try an oil change first.

I would be surprised if the injectors need replacing. If the FIP has been refurbished, is the modulation correct? Glow plugs, Beru, NGK or Delphi. Leak off pipes use Gates reinforced pipe. The leak off's self bleed.
