It's not detecting before you code it. There are several options there I remember there's an amplifier option as well. When it's not coded, the most ring avoids it.

I programmed like 50 bcms with old VIN on and they work fine the VIN is not the issue.

No idea never had any issues of this sort with disco4 maybe the mongoose is faulty I have seen it a few times.

prob a kvm issue or steering column (immo) check dtcs 1st even with n ignition it will show you what's not responding.

did you remove pin13 from mongoose?

mismatches are between factory as built and whatever is on BCM if it has been replaced or "pimped" you will have those. There is a special procedure to resync check session active configuration in service function
