Thank you for advice . Very loud noise from fuel pump was conveyed need it was knackered but after reading this I changed fuel filter purged system noise gone engine running . Thank you all so much 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Sounds like air in the fuel or knackered fuel pump. The usual reasons ar blocked fuel filter, Blocked fuel pump strainer, knackered fuel pump, knackered copper washers on injectors, leaking fuel pressure regulator, hole in fuel line etc.

out playing today at bunny lane and my mates defender td5 is making a loud buzzing noise from what i guess is the fuel pump located nr the rear wheelarch it can be heard all the time,there also an intermittant fault with the engine cutting out...
