Oops, sorry. It’s a 2001 Disco 2 V8

Hi chaps, I’m having to replace the manifold elbow outlet and the new one just comes with an O ring. Now the one I’ve just taken off had a a lot of sealant despite it having quite a big flange. Would you recommend sealing it in a similar fashion?
