I've never changed an exhaust in any Freelander and they were all as old as yours. They must have been well made.

Replaced back box. Picked up last MOT as the outer was rusted and coming away. Not blowing. See the pic of the old one below. Looks suspiciously like a date code, if it is, it’s done very well. My FL is a March 06 registration on 157.5 k miles...

Well the plan was to replace the El Cheapo front ARB bushes with some poly ones - Floflex not Powerflex to see how long they last. TLDR: didn’t happen had to put El Cheapos back. The polys when measured side by side with the others are bigger...

Finally finished the front suspension replacement (I hope!) Replaced both struts, springs, lower arms, TRE’s and drop links. Also put a new driveshaft on the n/s, as the old one had some damage. Managed to break a bolt in the upper mounts...
