Started to strip but not got the heart to look under the sump plate yet. Will look when I have sorted out my alternative transport for work. But the amount of oil coming out the engine (all of it) seems to point to a detonation of some kind

All Got into the electrical fault finding and trying to suss out the bypass, but all now in vain as the engine went pop whilst driving on the motorway. On the lookout for a decent 2.7 and any articles on removing and refitting without taking the body off. Thanks for all the help Gary

OK I thought id give an update. I checked all the connectors and they seemed fine. Fuses where also ok. I shelled out for a new compressor and fitted it. The warning light went out and it seemed good. After cycling through the suspension settings it became apparent that the suspension was...

Thanks for the reply. I'll do that tomorrow and post the results. I did do a data test and it gave the following result All four corners have 5v feed with zero amp current. The height sensor voltages are as follows FL= 1.85 FR=1.90 RL=1.60 RR= 1.33 Thanks again

Thanks for the info I'll try to get my head round it; One of the pipes goes from the center top of the engine behind the fan to the connection just under the EGR valve. The other one goes to a T piece at the rear of the engine from the bottom of the radiator. I forgot to say its the 2.7 TDV6...
