I remeber that area and holes in the holly bush entrance to the lanes. Even with my rough paint I did not enter. I did not even have a look on the bike as I wanted my arms left.
Amazed how the idiots who go off piste never find these lanes and...
Drove a couple of lanes around Bucklebury on my own today. Decided to go down a lane we haven't been down for years but remember it being quite tight between the trees.
1hr 1/2 later after cutting back many Holly bushes I made it to the other...
I think mines been sitting at about 1/3 full, I never topped it up properly after replacing the thermostat. Temps sit nicely just below the half way mark on the gauge, rad hoses nice and hot... all is good!
As for the manuals, I got one of the...
Fill 1/2 full to the seam.. squeeze the bottom pipe from the rad to make sure the water moves.
After a big drive check level when cools & then keep an eye on it.
Any excess will have been pushed out the cap & down that little pipe below it(just...
Thanks!
I imagine I’m going to be on here quite a bit!
It’s a Defender 90 County, very original and solid underneath. Door bottoms are a bit shot but will do for now and she’s a tad oily underneath but that’s normal right!
Drove her back 180...

The last few days has been spent removing the rear suspension upper and lower trailing arms. Each, in their own way, has been a PITA.

The slight leak on the rear nearside hub has become more of a weep now. I noticed it last night when I went to a local meet up. Looks like, I’ll need to get a complete seal and hub nut kit and do the whole job. I’ll check the breather too.
I will have to replace the studs on the downpipe top fixings yet. When I do that I shall have a but more off a faff around lining it all up.
It has a dummy cat on it, if that was a slightly different shape then it would be a nice fit.
There’s a chap over here who has a Bespoke defender and it’s had an awful lot more done to it than this one. It’s painted, has a cage, lots of Bowler bits bolted on etc. It wasn’t cheap but the guys loaded
I've found with the exhaust pipes there can be a bit of fettling needed to get them to fit, and not foul the chassis. to stop my downpipe rubbing on the chassis I've spaced the relevant bracket away from the chassis with a few washers. Also, I...
