You could claim you were distracted by a very important thread on the forum, although thinking about it you are probably best ignoring it all together for your own safety
1st job is do a one wheel up test (plenty of info on here).
If the VCU is duff you can take the prop off and then it doesn't matter what tyres you have on the car and you can drive it with them as much as you want.
If the VCU is good, you can...
The females in my family seem to like to take a hold luggage sized bag/case each with us when we're going away for just a couple of nights. What with my toolbox and junk in the boot I struggle to fit their stuff in each time. I myself always...
Not much help to you I know, but this reminds me of every oil filter I've ever bought for the FL1 being supplied with a copper washer that does not fit the sump plug. I've got twelve of them now.
Yeah, I've been asked if I'd sell mine by a couple of eastern Europeans I know over the years to do exactly that. Apparently it's a "relatively" straight forward conversion.
The oil cooler went on mine a few years ago too. I don't think it's one of the coolers though as it really doesn't appear like there is any oil in the coolant. My slight worry is combustion stuff obviously. There is a dark residue in the bottom...

Bought a roll of plastic carpet protector...
The tax bracket is the Achilles Heal I would say. Everything else sounds good. A quick Auto Trader search shows six examples with less than 70k miles on ranging from £2650 to £5000 although only two of those are TD4s, and I can't imagine many...
Me and Nodge did the rear on my FL1, not the same I know, but I managed to get a reasonable second hand one and had it shot blasted and professionally painted. Subframe was £100 from ebay and the blast and paint was £80. That might be an option...
