True but a few things that count against that for me, I don't have a roof rack and its household items that will need to be kept dry. I have a 2800km return and security is important, hence locked inside the hippo.
Thanks @Arctic2 and @Freddie, I had them folded down last year when moving from Austria to Hungary, then back to France. I felt I would have a “flatter” and larger space but your comments have been helpful. I’m pondering on it all now 🤔.
I took the rear seats out of my old F1 for a bit, thinking it would give the dog (and me) a lot more space. In reality, it’s a right pain, as @Arctic2 says, you just gain the footwells, but of course it creates a big ‘gap’ between the bed of the...
The seats folded make a flat bed in the back, which i think is going to be much safer, and i doubt you will gain that much room because you will only be losing the footwell space the seats fold into?
I shall be travelling to Hungary from NW France to collect a lot of household items. I am planning on removing the rear seats to make better use of the load space.
Is there a floor reinforcement panel in the commercial variant to distribute...
Hi,
I solved this and it was so simple, I'd like to share
1. Get a cigar lighter Bluetooth FM transmitter (15 quid) and pair phone with it, leave it on 98.5 (I think, the default frequency anyway)
2. Disconnect aerial from back of radio to avoid...
Well been busy replacing front end entire running gear and recon wheels
Replaced the following both sides front
Track control arm and gaiter
Track rod end
Shock and top mount
Spring
Wishbone
Ball joint

Steering knuckle
Abs sensor...
I am in New Zealand, so this is of limited help, but will give you an idea.
I bought a FL2 that failed WOF (MOT) on steering. Price reflected fail. I took it to a power steering specialist. That is all he does. He told me FL2 racks are perhaps...
Yes, but there's no guarantee that the bolts will come out the bushes, so there's that to consider.
As for the axle nut, I don't have a 400Nm torque wrench either, so I just do them tight with a 50 year old ¾ breaker bar with my trolley jack...
as above replies ..
+ check that the fuel-rail-sensor plug/socket pins are clean 'n totally free of corrosion ..
a code should def. register if that warning light illuminates .. i would think.

.
Although, if you are throwing parts at the problem, rather than finding the error code, if you bung a cheap pump on and the problem persists as-is, you haven't wasted much cash and can put the original back on.
I to, feel sure that if the EML...
How long have you owned the car?
I'd check your fusebox and make sure someone hasn't replaced a (something like) 5amp fuse with (something like) a 50amp one!
All wiring is rated well above the fuses, so should not burn out.
If it performs like a Jaecoo or Omoda, then it'll be as dull as dishwater to drive.
I tried a Jaecoo recently, it made our Ioniq 5 seem like a rocket ship on rails. It was a very underwhelming vehicle indeed.
There's little point in replacing just the rear bushes, as the arm will be rusty, the ball joint will be worn, and the front bush will also be worn. You'll have to have a suspension alignment done for a rear bush, or a complete wishbone, so it...
