I think I know what the problem is. I ordered a pair or callipers and had been sent two left hand side ones. After fitting them the bleed nipple on the right hand one is at the bottom and I think this is causing an air lock. I’m going to get it replaced and se if that helps

I’m going to have one more go at bleeding the system

To be honest i did two but couldn’t reach the back one. But no bubbles came out of the other two

I’ve done it a couple of times now and no sign of any bubbles.

Update guys No air in the system. The pedal pushes to the floor. After a couple of presses it is firm again but after releasing it goes to the floor again. The TC light also comes on when I press the pedal Any ideas??

Just a quick update. It turns out the tip has snapped off the rocker. Luckily the bits are all there and haven’t lodge anywhere

As there appears little wear on t he cam he suggests I remove the lifter and free it off then refit it as it will now be paired to the cam. Putting in a new lifter will likely cause more damage.

Spent all day stripping the engine down. When I got to the pushrods and valance lifters my problem became obvious. One lifter is jammed and the push rod is just rattling about. I hope it hasn’t done any more damage.
