Are thay for making compost put your waste green and Brown in the top then you can turn them daily and it speeds up the processing ?? Dan beat me to it should read to the end

If it is anywhere near "Allotments" it is probably rapid composting drums. You put the vegetable matter in the top lid and do it back up again. You rotate/tumble them to mix it all up, it rots down faster and the composting cycle is shortened.

You put small children in them, put the lid on, then spin them. Bit obvious really 😂

Imagine the reviews if it did?! Healthy avoidance of stuff I don't quite know enough to not believe in..
