😂 the lengths we go to.
I managed to get a stubby on my defender one. My disco one wouldn’t allow it though!!
I just slit it and wack round with a chisel - was much easier!
Powerflex are good - bought them for my project and will be installing...
So I haven't kept this thread up to date, but I did remember my password and I do still have the D2, not my daily anymore as I have a work van and new family car.
I’ve been green laning since I got my first Landy in the early 90’s. I started with some friends who were members of a local off road club which was mostly into trials. We went in groups of two or three and didn’t tear up the lanes or drive off...
Ah thats kind of you! I think I’ve found my mojo again now. I’m planning on having a bloody good crack at it when I’m on half term last week of May, that should give me time to get stuff done. Been really busy with other commitments (3 other...
Struts depot on the net has a good section.
The rear tail gate is the same design if it’s mesh or solid. Remove mesh and jut add flat Ali in its place. All fixings are the same.
Took me ages to find a new cover, came with the solid rear but no strut. Still have the mesh door incase the dogs go inside. When this is fitted I push the mesh right over onto the roof.

Spent a hateful day welding the chassis on the Ninety, another hateful day to look forward to tomorrow.
Why is it when welding on a bit of scrap metal you get a lovely weld, get underneath with your head wedged between propshaft and exhaust and...

Been to plenty of pay & play days where I have not even bothered driving.
By us they just put the motors in the deepest things they could find & winch all day.
I’m sure none of these drivers could do a challenge event(punch hunt). & last a day.
Very sensible and considerate driving at all times. Note a couple of lanes situated on the 'gallops' it is actually sign posted "NOT" to follow the track but to spread out to avoid making ruts so not to risk injury to horses. Just thought I would...
