    Fuel - Starting issue

So found my old ‘real’ one (see pics) but it still has the crappy pressed in valves. Stripped it down and gonna fit to see if it’s an improvement.

    Fuel - Starting issue

Thank you, really useful. I’ve not looked inside my fuel tank for a while and not serviced the carb for over 5 years, filters all look fine ‘but’ I’ll take the hit and get a new OEM one from Paddocks. The know the lift pump fitted is a copy with pressed in valves etc. Need a real one 😉

    Fuel - Starting issue

Starts great in the morning from cold and if you leave it for 10-15 minutes when hot it'll start straight away. But, if i leave it for longer than 30 minutes it'll...

    Mantec rear spare wheel carrier

Thank you Ian for taking the time to reply in between being super busy. Thats perfect mate. My swing away has a slightly bigger rear bottom bracket which goes slightly further to the left so will have to grind away a small piece of the lower tailgate mount. Mantec rear spare wheel carrier

Thank you Ian, that really helps. I also have the right rear tailgate mount in the way. Did you have the same problem? Think i just need to grind it off to make the bottom bracket fit. Rich

    Mantec rear spare wheel carrier

Brillant, thank you. I was toying with keeping the spare on the bulkhead but id rather have the internal space and it looks better. Rich

    Mantec rear spare wheel carrier

Afternoon everyone, Anyone ever fitted a Mantec swing away on their Series rear safari door? The instructions don't give me the measurements to drill the door for the mounting plate. I suppose i could fit the actual carrier and see where it will fits with the door and measure from there...

Evening knowledgable folk. Slowly taking my spare engine apart to check all the bits that may need replacing and began removing the cam lifters and guides etc. Initially guide was stuck and came out after a squirt of oil…..and so did the follower leaving the roller sat on the cam lobe (it was...
