The lower priced one is a TD4 (160hp) with 80k on the clock. The higher priced one is an SD4 (190hp) with 43k on the clock. They are bound to be different prices. My TD4 has ample poke for me.

If the battery is dropping to 8V when cranking, then it's FUBAR. The battery voltage should hold about 11 Volts, or there won't be sufficient voltage to spin the engine fast enough for a start.
