By 0800hrs I had washed, waxed, and put resin on her. Also sprayed tyres, wing mirror housings, little bit of black on bumper. Even took the cloth with some spray and went into grooves of rubber seals.
She be pretty. 😁🚘💖
Yesterday, I had chat with a collegue of mine about harnesses and how to replace them. She said, easy, if you have the old one, strip everything, see where it is routed, connect as specified. Take pictures and mark connections.
Easy for her to...
On a different forum someone explained the outcome, because they knew someone who did something like this, and they said it was fine, just less acceleration.
All done.
Bought some M5 x 25mm bolts from Wickes this morning and it went in first time. Bracket lines up properly and all.
Shame it was a 50 pack - anybody need 49 spare bolts? 😆
Pressure tested to 15 psi for about 10 mins, and no leaks...
If it's not loss of sync, then it could be FIP timing. When the modulation was over 80% on my project car, it was almost impossible to start it when hot.
Pop into a shop, buy a bottle of cold water and pour it over the top of fuel injection pump. Over heat sensor just under cover and can stop it firing when too hot. water trick can cool it down enough to make it fire up

Best fuel economy is at max torque. Guessing on the petrol that's about 3000 rpm?
I'd leave it as it is. I'd also guess that given most fuel economy figures are quoted at 56 mph (80 kph) then that's probably what it has been tuned to do best...
Those Wildtracks are pretty good. One at work was twin - turbo with 10 speed automatic and I think it had low range too. Pretty sure it was usually 2H but also had 4H and then 4L on a knob near the gear selector. Towed with it a few times and it...
Ranger 3.2 wildtrack, 3500kgs capacity yeah, emptyed the spare wheel and my usual junk that takes my RR to 2780kgs usually with me in it too so it is somewhere near 2550kg, his trailers 850kg, luckily we have a weigh bridge and i had to remove a...
Emptied the interior yesterday and today, isolated the transmission tunnel, got the rear carpets in, the transmission tunnel carpet as well. Reinstalled the drawers in the back. Plugged two holes, one in the driver foot well and one in the roof...
Have you checked that you have not nudged the the dash dimming button, you would not be the first to have done it and stipped bits apart before finding out.
