Your battery 'at rest' should be close to 12.4/12.6 Volts. When the alternator is running the voltage should be higher typically this would be around 14 to 14.5V if the battery needs to be charged and can be less (13.3V) if the battery is charged...

Could well be the battery - a low / duff one is known to throw the fault. How old is the battery / did you drain it whilst doing the head unit switch?

If you have low boost, then make sure you have reconnected all your new boost pipes correctly, and that the are fully sealed
