That is actually a good idea, even better if we had some wheel nuts for steel wheels. Besides sod's law dictates 5 miles down the road we would get a puncture on the way to collect them.

Most likely is what @SimonBrown says in above post. Hot spot due to poor injector spray pattern. Black puff is the 200's excess fuel start system working, good for getting dirty looks at the supermarket car park. :D
