Very good question, my gut says you will have to come from above, I vaguely remember my chap had fuel tank supports etc to replace whilst he did it so there must be space, I think the rear CM curves down at the point they replace it.
You are wise to be concerned and query.
Imagine if 2/3 of the weight were at the front on one side it would be on 1 support on the gutter really. But you are also right the feet you have are wider than a lot out there. I would take some...
All good points.....
Keep in mind when you are sleeping only "some" weight is on the roof as the ladder supports a lot of it.
I would in order.
1. Support the rack fully along the gutter
2. Get as light a rack as possible
3. Even the load on...
I believe you can separate them if you want to..... When I cleaned out my tank (Petrol) and I had waste oil which I stored in the same container, I took mine to the tip and they said to just dump it in the waste oil tank which scared the **** out...
Its the same everywhere :(... .I am restoring a 45 year old classic and the reproduction parts are ****e..... with the exception of rubber which perishes over time the seals, o rings and fittings from the original vehicle re-fitted are better...
Welcome brother :)
Looks lovely and I am sure she will do you proud....
Stick with it and get posting when you have issues or just to see progress.
Both my vehicles have been late night purchases, and both bad ones to a certain extent but...
