Before you fit the XUD beware that a lot will tell you its not good enough, that said the non turbo version pulled post office vans all round the country for years.
There is a conversion plate that fits the peugeot 2.3 diesel to the landy box I think this is the same as the XUD however do some research to make sure, also might be worth looking at the perkins prima adaptor that might be similar.
When I was thinking of using the pug I was gonna do away with the 4wd at first and just use the landy rear axle with a ldv pilot van rwd gearbox and engine, this is an option if you like it, check up on the axle ratios first though.
