Back again I am afraid with a negative on the WD40 solution...i will take the door apart now to see if my untrained eye can detect anything.

Hi there, am new to the forum, some great advice out there. I wonder if anyone can help. I have a 53 D5 and the remote will lock all doors fine, but will not open the drivers door - all the others are fine. Any ideas what could be wrong. Cheers
