That might be a fuel called Aspen. Supposed to be fancy clean burning, doesnโt clog up the engine and good for the environment but it costs a packet. I stick to 4*.

You tried bicarbonate of soda. I use it. Iโve got old 58 pattern water bottles, been using em for 35 years. Bit worried about the old plastic having a dodgy Chemical in it.
That looks like a chafer beetle. They lay loads of eggs in grass and the grubs destroy the roots, ruins lawns. Took me a few years to get rid of them here and get the grass back into condition.
