Nice lamps!
Did you see that Wheeler Dealers where they had a home use rechroming kit? I have a kit that nickel plates but never seen one of these before. It works on much the same principle. The nickel plating one is a doddle to use.
Shame...
Also, at MOT, I discovered that one of the plastic, screw-it-in, one-size-fits-all ones wouldn't pass. :( It was behind the lockable flap so couldn't be nicked easily but evidently not as safe as it should have been. Which made me wonder why they...
Afternoon
Plumber finished for the day now waiting for electrician to remove the shower ffs
Two and a quarter hours work , probably gone on another job.
Anyway, managed to clean up two lamps ready for sale, cash towards next trip to Scotland 🙂
I did have a nice chrome one until I left it at a petrol station went back but was not there , most probably in some office as a paper weight b----'''''''''' s
I once had a problem finding the petrol cap on a 1972 Toyota I had just bought. Pulled up to the pump and couldn't find the cap. The attendant wimmins showed me where it was, behind the rear number plate which flipped down to reveal the cap.
Good thing. Well done.
The Pluriel's cap needs to be unlocked and once that is done the key won't come out of it, so there is a cunning little hook on the filler flap you hang it all on while filling up, you then have to put it back in with the...
Mornin all.
Two tyres on the Disco now.
Going to work out if it will be cheaper to put frog tyres on W's Pluriel or Brit ones. If that is at all possible.
Raining a bit here, so ... very glad that I finished the work on the trailer yessdi...
Well, it sounds as if you did this at home so there's a good chance of finding the cap.
I once did this in a fuel station in Yorkshire and lost the lockable cap completely. Total pain.
Had my annual health check with nursey. All parts working normally, a picture of health I am. When I got back home I noticed I had not replaced the filler cap on me Landy after tipping a jerry can of diesel in this morning.

Wifey is incapacitated as there's something wrong with her foot and it is painful to walk on. :(

Well, yes and no. Maybe reasonable miles and frequent changes.
Also looking for a more appropriate airbox/filter combo to try and keep the induction noise down a bit because it is simply monstrous as it is. :D

Straightened out that bit of galvanised steel from the trailer.
Managed to do it without breaking the plastic. Couldn't find my heat gun so had to use the garage hairdryer, (No I is not a gaylander driver, I just happens to have one in there...
.... best laid plans and all that.
No Hail-Frauds did not have the oil I ordered either and it won't be here till next week. :(
Interestingly, I found a different purveyor of high-Zinc 20/50 at not £30/5Ltrs but £79 for 20Ltrs.
I may cancel the...
I think ive asked my mum for money once since ive been an adult, when I had lost my job & place to live. I had not a pot to pee
in. Slept in the streets for a few nights with not much to eat. I asked her for bus fare to come home. Not asked for...
So this is what I have been playing with a bit this arvo.
The result of an "accrochage" as we were leaving to come home last September.
Flipping annoying as the trailer onl;y gets used about 4 days a year.
We had driven to the village and had...
