How this 'upset' was created was from the water pump shaft actually 'snapping' off..

Thanks chaps! That's the way I'm going I think.. I was concerned how much 'pressure' was in the pipelines, but considered that it can't be excessive as there's rubber used anyway.. then I can still use the cooler of course and as Datatek says...
Or failing this, what's anyone's thoughts on bypassing the oil cooler altogether.. even if it's only for a short period??
I know it's an auto, but I wouldn't be doing high/fast motorway mileage nor indeed towing heavy trailers??

as my title suggests.. but, I'm struggling to work out how to thread the actual pipes to the Autobox itself..?? very little movement of the steel pipe making it difficult to thread them through alongside (underneath) the actual engine...
